“We do have pretty detailed video that shows it was an intentional act. The suspect, Lakeisha Holloway, repeatedly drove her car over pedestrians. Some jumped on her car and banged on it, trying to get her to stop, but she didn’t,” said Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo.

After the hit and run crash, police say, Lakeisha N. Holloway pulled into the valet parking area at the Tuscany Hotel and Casino, and told the valet to call 911 because she had hit several people.

Lakeisha N. Holloway is believed to be from the Portland, Oregon area.

According to Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo, the lack of information about Holloway’s background means they cannot completely rule out terrorism as a possible cause, but they do not believe terrorism was involved.

“The intentional act that occurred on the Boulevard is going to be very hard to explain at face value, so we’re working through that. But, I am comfortable saying now that I do not believe it to be an act of terrorism. But, with that admonishment, we are still working through it with the assistance of the FBI,” said Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo.

According to District Attorney Steve Wolfson, Lakeisha N. Holloway is faces one count of murder, and charges of attempted murder, child abuse and neglect, and leaving scene of accident are also being considered.

Lakeisha N. Holloway is being held without bail, and will face a judge either on Tuesday, December 22nd, 2015 or Wednesday, December 23rd, 2015.
