News Alert!!: Downtown Needles, CA: Fire Services Task Force Meeting today.

A Fire Services Task Force Meeting will be held at 3:00pm PT on Thursday, October 8th, 2015 inside the conference room at the Needles Administration Building located at 817 Third Street near F Street in Downtown Needles, California.

This is suppose to be the last Fire Services Task Force Meeting and the results from the Fire Services Task Force Meetings on what local fire department services would be best for the City of Needles will be in front of members of the Needles City Council at their next Needles City Council Meeting.

An agenda or cancellations notice wasn’t sent out or emailed out regarding this upcoming Fire Services Task Force Meeting.

ZachNews will be there to cover the Fire Services Task Force Meeting and asking about an application for qualified individuals interested in serving as a paid call firefighter for the City of Needles that was placed on the Needles Desert Star website on Monday, October 5th, 2015.

This application wasn’t decided on or approved at the last Fire Services Task Force Meeting held on Thursday, September 17th, 2015 inside the El Garces Train Depot in Downtown Needles, California.

The idea of putting out an application for qualified individuals interested in serving as a paid call or volunteer firefighters has only been talked about by some in the City of Needles, on the Needles City Council, and on the Fire Services Task Force and that this is only if there was a decision by the City of Needles and members of the Needles City Council to go with either a paid call or volunteer fire service to serve Needles, California.

This application wasn’t even mention when ZachNews asked Needles City Manager Rick Daniels about questionnaire type flyers that was discussed during the last Fire Services Task Force Meeting being placed in utility bills asking the question if people would join a paid call or volunteer firefighters service if the City of Needles did choose that.

Members of the Fire Services Task Force have met for the Fire Services Task Force Meetings on Thursday, September 3rd, 2015 and on Thursday, September 17th, 2015.

The meeting is open to the public, but seats are limited inside the conference room and if more than 15 people show up, the meeting will have to move.
