Redlands, CA: Thousands of people participated in the 8th Annual Believe Walk.
Thousands of people put on their walking shoes and took to the streets of Redlands, California participating in the 8th Annual Believe Walk held on Sunday, October 4th, 2015.
Not clouds or late rain fall stopped the thousands of people from coming together and walking together raising money to battle cancer.
The 8th Annual Believe Walk is sponsored by Stater Bros. Charities and Inland Women Fighting Cancer, and has provided more than $2.5 million dollars to local cancer-fighting organizations, including Loma Linda University Cancer Center, St. Bernardine Medical Center, and Redlands Community Hospital as well as communities that support cancer patients and their families.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department supported and walked in the 8th Annual Believe Walk and the Specialized Enforcement Division put together a team named “Angela’s Inspiration” in honor of a team member’s wife who was diagnosed with Stage 2, Grade 3 breast cancer.
The team raised over $20,000 and had over 250 walkers walking in Angela’s name.
Great job to all of the walkers, including members of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and team “Angela’s Inspiration”, who participated in the 8th Annual Believe Walk and to all of the hard working people who put on this walk to help people in their community.
