Weather Alert!!: Colorado River Tri-State: Storms approaching communities along the Colorado River.
ZachNews has spotted on the National Weather Service weather radar a storm with moderate to heavy rain falling approaching from the south and heading north and northwest to communities along the Colorado River in the Colorado River Tri-State area of San Bernardino County, California; Mohave County, Arizona, and Clark County, Nevada later.
If you’re living in or hanging out in Needles, California; Laughlin, Nevada; Bullhead City, Arizona; Fort Mohave, Arizona; Mohave Valley, Arizona; Topock, Arizona; Havasu Landing, California; Vidal Junction, California; Lake Havasu City, Arizona; Parker, Arizona; Kingman, Arizona; or on the Colorado River, be prepared just in case of any changes in weather condition and if any watches or warnings are issued by the National Weather Service.
If you are driving in the Colorado River Tri-State area, drivers should use caution and be prepare for any changes in weather condition, especially if driving along roads; highways including Highway 95 as well as Route 66, State Route 62, and State Route 163; and interstates including Interstate 40.

In case of heavy rain fall and flooding happens, never drive into a flooded road, highway, or interstate; “Turn Around, Don’t Drown’.
Never play is a flash flood channel, wash, or creek during severe storms as fast moving water can swift you away and possibly injure you or kill you.
If you see anybody in danger swift away in a flash flood or witness any life threatening emergency, please call 911 immediately and please make sure to be detailed as possible on where the location of the emergency is located as well as what city and state the emergency is located.
If you find down utility poles or lines, alert authorities and your power company about the down utility poles or lines and stay away from the down utility poles or lines.
If lightning is near and you’re swimming in the pool or in the Colorado River, get out of the water and get indoors a building or inside your vehicle.
If the storm decreases and no flooding issues are happening, the Flash Flood or Server Thunderstorm Watches or Warnings issued will then expire after the noted time.
In case of any Monsoon weather related problems, you, your family, your friends, and your neighbors should always be prepare for the storms by having an action plan in case you have to evacuate from you home or business .
Make sure you have an emergency survival kit with flashlights with fully charged batteries, bandages, antibiotic product, rubbing alcohol, medication, drinking water, canned foods and meals ready-to-eat, extra, clothes and shoes, working weather radio, and other emergency survival related items.
In case of possible heavy rain fall and flooding, protect and block areas that flooding could come into your home or business with sand bags and tarps, and make sure that drains are cleared so that flooding so to prevent flooding from happening.
