On the morning of Tuesday, September 11th, 2001, terrorists from the terrorist group Al-Qaeda attacked both buildings of the World Trade Center in New York City, New York, attacked the Pentagon in Washington, District of Columbia, and hijacked United Airlines Flight 93 to attack another city, but brave men and women passengers of United Airlines Flight 93 fought the 4 terrorist hijackers and prevented another attack on the United States of America as the United Airlines Flight 93 crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania killing all of the passengers and crew members on board the passenger plane.

Over 3,000 people were killed, injuring over 6,000 people, and causing over $10 billion dollars in property and infrastructure damages on that tragic morning.

Around 340 New York City Fire Department Firefighters, 23 New York City Police Department Officers, 37 Port Authority Police Department Officers, and 8 Emergency Medical Technicians Workers lost their lives on that tragic morning caring and saving other people’s lives.

ZachNews sends our thoughts, prayers, and condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and ZachNews sends our many thanks to all of the first responders and volunteers who all came to help and save lives after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
