Needles, CA: Needles City Council Meeting on Tuesday.
A Needles City Council Meeting is being held on Tuesday, August 11th, 2015 inside the Needles City Council Chambers located on the 1700 block of J Street near the Needles Recreation Center and Bailey Avenue in Needles, California.
The Needles City Council Meeting will start at 6:00pm PT with Executive Session starting at 5:00pm PT.
Topics on the agenda include a presentation will be made by Mr. Glen Duncan, President, California Historic Route 66 Association (CHR66A), Ms. Lynne Miller, CHR66A CMP Liaison, and Ms. Doran Sanchez, BLM Lead, regarding the Needles to Barstow Historic Route 66 Corridor Management Plan as well as a resolution of the Needles City Council supporting “The Needles to Barstow California Historic Route 66 Corridor Management Plan”.
Also on the aganda, an item to approve the 2015-2016 budget revisions for Dial-a-Ride (DAR), Dial-a-Ride Medical Transport and Needles Area Transit (N.A.T.), an item to approve filing of a claim for Local Transportation Fund (L.T.F.), State Transit Assistance Fund (S.T.A.F.), and Measure I Operations and Elderly & Handicapped for fiscal year 2015-2016, an item to approve and authorize the City of Needles Mayor to execute Agreement Extension No. 31 between the City of Needles and Needles Senior Citizens Club Inc. to provide specialized transportation services to the elderly and disabled and pre-scheduled medical transport services into Arizona for the 2015-2016 fiscal year, and a discussion and possible action to authorize funding and demolition and/or controlled burn of the Overland Motel, including structures and improvements located at 710 and 712 West Broadway in Downtown Needles California (Assessor’s Parcel Number 0186-106-26) pursuant to court order authorizing demolition in the case of City of Needles v. Keith Ents USA, LLC and T&M Investors V, L.P.
