Weather Alert!!: Mohave County, AZ: Flash Flood Watch!!
The National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Nevada has issued a Flash Flood Watch until Friday, August 7th, 2015 at 8:00pm MST for the northwest Arizona including Mohave County, Arizona area.
Storms with moderate to heavy rain falling is moving north to northeast across Mohave County, Arizona as well as along Interstate 40 that could bring flash flooding, some gusty winds, thunder, and lightning.
This is the same storms that came pass Needles, California earlier at night on Thursday, August 6th, 2015.
If you are living in or hanging out in northwest Arizona communities like Kingman, Arizona and Golden Valley, Arizona should be on watch and prepare for any changes in weather condition, to get indoors in case of lightning happens, and to stay away from flash flooded areas in case the storm moves into your community.
If roads, highway, or interstate is flooded, please do not drive through; “Turn Around Don’t Drown”!!
