Weather Alert!!: Twentynine Palms, CA: Flash Flood Warning!!
The National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Nevada has issued a Flash Flood Warning until Friday, August 7th, 2015 at 12:45am PT for the south central San Bernardino County, California including east of Twentynine Palms, California and west of Vidal Junction, California along State Route 62 as well as communities north to northeast of State Route 62 between Twentynine Palms, California and Vidal Junction, California.
A storm with moderate to heavy rain falling is moving north to northeast across the Mojave Desert of San Bernardino County, California that could bring flash flooding, gusty winds, thunder, and lightning.
According to the National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Nevada, flash flooding is expected to occurred shortly in the Flash Flood Warning area and affect State Route 62.
If you are living in or hanging out in communities north to northeast of State Route 62 between Twentynine Palms, California and Vidal Junction, California including Essex, California, Fenner, California, Goffs, California, and Needles, California should be on watch and prepare for any changes in weather condition, to get indoors in case of lightning happens, and to stay away from flash flooded areas in case the storm moves into your community.
