Breaking News!!: Highland, CA: A toddler playing in his neighborhood was killed by gunfire.
A toddler who was playing in his neighborhood has died after being struck by gunfire in Highland, California.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to a call of shots being fired on the 7200 block of McKinley Avenue in Highland, California at around 8:30pm PT on Wednesday, July 29th, 2015. Deputies found a toddler shot, and the toddler was transported to a hospital where the toddler was pronounced dead.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department are searching for the shooter or shooters who shot at least 12 gunshots in the neighborhood where investigators say the toddler was playing with his stuffed animals outside his home when he was shot.
Detectives are talking to possible witnesses and investigators are looking for a Vehicle of Interest; a four-door early 1990s model white Toyota Camry with black front and rear bumpers.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department have released a picture of a Person of Interest (Not A Suspect) who may have been the passenger in that Vehicle of Interest and authorities want to talk to this man regarding this deadly shooting.
