Breaking News!!: Riverside, CA: Small plane crashes into a neighborhood.
A small plane has crashed into a neighborhood along the 4500 block of Adams Street in Riverside, California at around 5:00pm PT on Sunday, July 26th, 2015.

According to a Federal Aviation Administration Spokesman, the pilot of the single engine Beechcraft BE35 reported a loss of engine power before crashing about a half-mile east of Riverside Municipal Airport, and the aircraft caught fire after crashing and the pilot was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Riverside Fire Department Captain Tim Odebralski, air traffic control tower at Riverside Municipal Airport received a distress call from the pilot to make an emergency landing, but shortly after, they received an additional distress call saying that the pilot didn’t think that he was going to make it to the airport.
The small plane crashed, chipped some utility lines, and went through a fence in the backyard of a home well drivers reportedly devoid debris that were scattered in the street.

According to the Riverside Police Department, there were no injuries on the ground or damage to nearby homes, but power was knocked out.
According to Riverside Public Utilities, at least 350 people in the area are without power due to the plane crash.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.
