The United States Geological Survey reported a preliminary 4.3-magnitude, but later downgraded the earthquake to a 4.2-magnitude.
According to San Bernardino County Fire Department, no injuries or serious damage were reported.
Residents felt a strong jolt and reported items falling off shelves.
