News Update!!: Needles, CA: Brush fire is under control.
Fire department battalion are reporting over the police scanner that the brush fire that was burning near Interstate 40 next to East Park Moabi Road in Needles, California is under control and fire department crews are mopping up.
The brush fire has burned 2 to 3 acres burned and was had heavy fuel from brush.
Earlier reports over police scanner traffic that the fire was at 10 acres.

Brush fire was reported before 2:34am PT on Monday, July 13th, 2015.
According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, firefighters from the San Bernardino County Fire Department, with assistance from Mohave Valley Fire Department, Golden Shores Fire Department, and the United States Bureau of Land Management, battled the brush fire together under mutual aid along the Colorado River.
The brush fire burned near a railroad bridge and the Interstate 40 bridge which a train from Burlington Northern Santa Fe railway was rolled pass the brush fire on the railroad bridge well traffic drove by along the Interstate 40 bridge.
According to the California Highway Patrol, other then the smoke, Interstate 40 was not affected by this brush fire and remained opened.
