Breaking News!!: Yucaipa, CA: A brush fire is burning.

A wildfire named the “Mill 2 Fire” is burning in the San Bernardino National Forest in Mill Creek Canyon near Highway 38 and Bryant Street in Yucaipa, California.

The brush fire was reported at about 2:30pm PT on Sunday, July 12th, 2015 and has burned at least 35 acres fueled by chaparral.

At least 4 homes along Yucaipa Ridge were evacuated after the brush fire broke out.

Around 17 fire department engines, 7 crews, 2 bulldozers, 5 helicopters, and several air tankers have been ordered to battle this brush fire.

Just like in the “Lake Fire” and the “Sterling Fire”, a drone temporarily stopped water tanker operations, but those efforts quickly resumed.

Authorities are asking the public to not be flying their drones well they are trying to battle this brush fire.

Highway 38 is closed between Bryant Street and Lake Williams.

The cause of the brush fire was under investigation.
