Weather Alert!!: San Bernardino, CA: A dust storm blows across San Bernardino, California.

Stormy weather with thunder, lightning, heavy rain, and even a dust storm blow into San Bernardino County, California on Tuesday, June 30th, 2015 as part of a monsoonal storms system moving across the southern portion of California.

A dust storm was reported in San Bernardino, California where Mary Cisneros Toth captured the dust storm as the dust storm swept through her neighborhood similar to a scene from a Hollywood movie.

The brown dust blanketing the sky over her neighborhood and blow across streets in the area as seen by San Bernardino Police Department’s Investigations Division Lieutenant Tim Crocker who posted a picture to Twitter of the dust blowing by him.

County of San Bernardino’s 5th District Supervisor Josie Gonzales captured the dust blowing in on top of a building in Downtown San Bernardino, California.

The San Bernardino County Fire Department captured the dust blowing hitting into the Downtown San Bernardino, California.

Further to the east, blowing dust was also seen in Yucaipa, California where Colleen Kirkpatrick captured the dust blowing into her community.

Portions of both San Bernardino County, California also saw thunder, lightning, and heavy rain fell over the area.

According to the National Weather Service, the storms caused wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph, with gusts reaching 50 mph in the mountains.

The monsoonal moisture is expected to remain in the area through Friday, June 3rd, 2015 as people head out for the 4th of July Weekend.

As Monsoon Season 2015 has began, you, your family, and your friends should always be prepare for any problems caused by any storm by having an action plan in case you have to evacuate from you home or business and make sure you have an emergency survival kit with flashlights with fully charged batteries, bandages, antibiotic product, rubbing alcohol, medication, drinking water, canned foods and meals ready-to-eat, extra, clothes and shoes, working weather radio, and other emergency survival related items.
