News Update!!: Needles, CA: More information and name released in fatality accident on Interstate 40 Monday evening.
ZachNews has obtain more information regarding the fatality accident happened on Eastbound Interstate 40 just west of Highway 95 at around 5:25pm PT Monday evening in Needles, California that a 16 year old man; not a women as the was kill as a California Highway Patrol Public Information Officer told ZachNews Tuesday morning around 9:00am PT.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Coroner, 16 year old Hamed Kakar, a male resident of Plano, Texas was pronounced dead at 5:48pm PT.
Earlier, ZachNews contacted the California Highway Patrol Office at around 9:00am PT Tuesday morning and talked with California Highway Patrol Public Information Officer Tami Mauch.
ZachNews confirmed twice from California Highway Patrol Public Information Officer Tami Mauch who said a “16 year old female was pronounced dead” in the accident and a “21 year old male” was transported to a Las Vages, Nevada Hospital.
But, when ZachNews received information that the name was released and checked the name of the person who died in the accident, ZachNews contacted again California Highway Patrol Public Information Officer Tami Mauch who apologized for the mistake.
San Bernardino County Fire Department Station 31 from Downtown Needles, California were called to the accident and a medical transport helicopter was called to the location.
There was a family of 4 people; 2 people in the front seats and 2 people in the back seats.
The 2 people in the front seat were transported to the Colorado River Medical Center in Needles, California with unknown injuries.
At around 7:12pm PT Monday night, Active Tow Towing is on their way to the incident.
The cause of the accident is under investigated.
