News Update!!: Downtown Needles, CA: Cubs’ Liquor store armed robbery suspects arrested.
At around 3:05pm PT Monday, Sources telling ZachNews that both suspects in last Wednesday night’s armed robbery at the Cubs’ Liquor store in Downtown Needles, California have been arrested.
Reports are that the second person was was turned in by another person and was being transported to West Valley.
ZachNews has tried to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, but no response to our calls regarding this arrest.
Over the weekend, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Detectives at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station obtained information leading to a search warrant and arrest warrant being obtained for 39 year old Jon Pierre Hall at a local hotel in Needles, California.
The search warrant was served and items linking Jon Pierre Hall to the crime were recovered.
Jon Pierre Hall was subsequently arrested and booked at the Colorado River Station on Robbery charges.
Jon Pierre Hall’s bail is set at $110,000.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, on Wednesday, December 18th, 2013, Jon Pierre Hall of Needles, California and an unknown accomplice entered the Cubs Liquor store located on the 600 block of West Broadway in Downtown Needles, California armed with a handgun.
The cashier was ordered at gunpoint to open the register and hand over the money.
Both men took an undisclosed amount of money was well as cigarettes and other merchandise.
