Breaking News!!: Hesperia, CA: At least 2 people are in police custody after firing shots near a school.

Reports of shots heard fired near a school in Hesperia, California Thursday afternoon.

Summit Leadership Academy, Canyon Ridge High School, Shadow Ridge School, and Mission Crest Elementary School were all on lockdown after a report of shots being fired in the area at around 1:30pm PT.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Deputies from the Hesperia Station went room by room at the schools in the area then searched around the neighborhood near Canyon Ridge High School located at 12850 Muscatel Street in Hesperia, California.

There is no reports of anybody being injured or killed in the shooting.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the shots may have came from a large caliber weapon or a shotgun.

At least 2 people are in police custody in this incident and as of 4:13pm PT Thursday afternoon, all school lockdowns in the Hesperia, California have been lifted.
