Downtown Needles, CA: Break ins and vandalism hitting Downtown Needles, California.

Businesses on West Broadway in Downtown and Front Street in Needles, California are on alert after a local hair salon place was broken into by thieves early this week.

The recent break in occurred between 6:00pm PT on Sunday, October 21st, 2013and 6:00am PT on Monday, October 22nd, 2013 at the Ila May’s Beauty Salon located at 821 West Broadway in Downtown Needles, California.

At around 8:30am PT, police and fire department scanners reported a bird size hole was found at Ila May’s Beauty Salon.

An employee at Ila May’s Beauty Salon tell ZachNews that the suspect or suspects broke in from the back alley way and took $80.00.

This is the latest in both break ins and vandalism hitting the quite Downtown Needles, California area in the last 3 months.

– In late August 2013: Burger Hut was hit by vandals breaking the front and side windows of the restaurant.

At Munchey’s Mexican Restaurant, thieves broken into the restaurant from the dark alley way taking food and some amount of money including golden coins.

– In early September 2013, Burger Hut was hit again by vandals breaking the same front and side windows of the restaurant.

Just down to street on E Street, vandals broke a large side window at Lucy’s Mexican Restaurant.

Just down the street at Munchey’s Mexican Restaurant on Front Street, vandals broken the front window of the restaurant.

– In October 2013: thieves broken into the safe of the Saint Vincent de Paul Thrift Shop taking $600.00 and breaking into the back door alley way on the weekend of the Needles Centennial Celebration.

A chiropractor office located on F Street was broken into on Saturday, October 20th, 2013 and according to an employee, thrives took a piece of equipment.

The most recent break in occurred between 6:00pm PT on Sunday, October 21st, 2013and 6:00am PT on Monday, October 22nd, 2013 at the Ila May’s Beauty Salon located at 821 West Broadway in Downtown Needles, California and according to an employee at Ila May’s Beauty Salon, thieves took $80.00 by breaking in from a dark alley way.

ZachNews had reached out to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Public Information Office for more information regarding these incidents and what is the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department going to do to address the public’s concerns, but so far, ZachNews has not received any information regarding these incidents and even gotten the run around with disrespectful remarks.

These break ins and vandalism are getting the community angry and are wondering where are the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department at when all these break ins and vandalism are happening.

Many from the community have been sharing with ZachNews their own frustrations and run ins with the San Bernardino Country Sheriff’s Department with more information still coming in; from unwanted stops and harassment by San Bernardino Country Sheriff’s Department Deputies and out of control San Bernardino Country Sheriff’s Department Deputies snapping at people driving along a public street heading to the Colorado River, to San Bernardino Country Sheriff’s Department Deputies speeding down the streets without lights and sirens on in their San Bernardino Country Sheriff’s Department vehicles missing people and other vehicles on the street and issues regarding San Bernardino Country Sheriff’s Department Deputies and warrants.

Many wanting the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department to go after real criminals and stop harassing people who are obeying the law and are not committing a crime. 

The break ins and vandalism to local businesses in the Downtown Needles, California have gotten many businesses owners and residents on alert and watching their neighborhood well making sure to help those businesses effected by these break ins and vandalism for we should always help and protect our Needles, California Family.
