Needles, CA: Public hearing regarding a parcel map to subdivide a property.
A public hearing was held during last Tuesday’s Needles City Council Meeting regarding a parcel map to subdivide a property in Needles, California.
The public hearing was to consider all evidence and testimony for or against a parcel map subdivide a 3.90 +/- acre parcel into a 2 parcels.
According to information in the agenda packet, the Tentative Parcel Map 19438 is located in the Commercial, Residential, and Resort (C.R.R.) Zone at 3514 Needles Highway, also known as Assessor’s Parcel No. #0660-161-15 continued from Tuesday, September 24th, 2013 to Tuesday, October 8th, 2013.
Applicants Mr. and Mrs. Rick Seidner and WF Hilton L.L.C. submitted an application for a Tentative Parcel Map on Thursday, October 15th. 2013 proposing to split a parcel, 3.90 +/- acres into a 2 lot parcel.
Vacant land, single family residences, and RV/ Mobile Home Parks are located to the north and south of the project. City of Needles Staff finds the subdivision is compatible with the land use and density in the area.
The fiscal impact would be construction of residential dwelling unit or units.
The environmental impact would be exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (C.E.Q.A.) as a minor land division exemption as a four or fewer parcel split.
Members of the Needles City Council voted unanimously to approve the agenda item.
