The suspect who went on a deadly shooting rampage during a municipal meeting Monday night in Ross Township, Pennsylvania was arraigned Tuesday morning.

59 year old Rockne Newell was charged with 2 counts of homicide and 2 counts of attempted homicide.

At around 7:19pm ET Monday night, Rockne Newell came to the municipal meeting in a car.

After entering the building where the municipal meeting was being held, Rockne Newell began shooting with a semi-automatic rifle as he made his way through the building.

Rockne Newell then retrieved a handgun from vehicle, reentered the building and started firing the handgun before Rockne Newell was tackled to the ground by 2 good samaritan people and was shot in the leg with his own gun.

The 2 good samaritan people who bravely tackled Rockne Newell was a member of the parks program and a member of the public.

During a Monday night press conference, According to State Police Captain Edward Hoke said, “They were certainly courageous — they saved lives.”

Rockne Newell was later released from the hospital into police custody.

According to authorities, Rockne Newell expected to die in the incident and Rockne Newell well was escorted from the scene for treatment and said, “I wish I killed more of them.”

Authorities say that 3 people were killed in the deadly shooting rampage.

The 3 people who were killed deadly shooting rampage were identified in the criminal complaint as Chestnuthill Township Supervisor David Fleetwood, and 53 year old Gerard J. Kozic of Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania and 64 year old James LaGuardia of Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania.

Authorities say that at least 3 people were wounded, including the shooter in the deadly shooting rampage and were treated at a hospital.

Rockne Newell was reportedly involved in a long-running feud with town officials over his property where he kept a junkyard near his home which he was evicted earlier this year.

Rockne Newell’s property was reportedly was condemned last Thursday.

Sam Irick gave his life saving others was a cousin of the saddle shop owner, Conway Irick, while David Fleetwood gave his life saving others was the cousin of a pawn shop owner, Otis Fleetwood. Wow! Irick and Fleetwood, the heroes has the same name as the owners of the businesses in Yampa Valley in Craig!
