News Update!!: Downtown Needles, CA: More information release regarding police activity on H Street in Downtown Needles, California.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded to a home on the 200 block of H Street at Third Street in Downtown Needles, California Thursday afternoon.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department regarding Thursday’s police activity, Possession of Stolen Property.

In a press release from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station received information from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department regarding suspected vending machine thieves last seen staying at the AVI Resort and Casino near Laughlin, Nevada. 

The information from the Las Vegas, Nevada investigators indicated that 2 suspects were wanted in connection with several vending machine burglaries in the Laughlin, Nevada area. 

The suspects were last seen driving a white colored 2009 Nissan Cube. 

At about 4:00pm PT, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Deputies Rivas and McMullen located a white Nissan Cube parked at 218 H Street in Downtown Needles, California. 

The vehicle had been reported stolen to the Rialto Police Department on Thursday, July 4th, 2013. 

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the suspects, 34 years old Kenneth Mark Durham of Rialto, California and 36 years old Jewelina Casillas Rialto, California were contacted inside the home and found in possession of additional stolen property linking them to several other burglaries and thefts in the Tri-State area.

ZachNews was heading back to the studio from covering a near by wildfire when a ZachNews was tip off by a ZachNews followers that San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department were surrounding a home with guns drawn.

Wintesses tell ZachNews that they seen San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department arrived at this home at around 4:30pm PT.

As ZachNews Photojournalist Zachary A. Lopez was reporting on what was happening, a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Deputy was seen armed and watching a orange house on the corner of H Street and Third Street.

Later, ZachNews Photojournalist Zachary A. Lopez captured a man being taken out of a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department vehicle and removing their handcuffs. Minutes later, a women in handcuffs was seen being taken out of a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department vehicle and was placed in another San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department vehicle which then drove away.

Minutes after the women was being taken away, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Deputies were seen taking pictures as well as searching a near by white vehicle which wad latet towed away.
