– Hesperia, CA: Driver pronounced dead in traffic accident on Peach Avenue.
At around 7:25 pm PT Monday night, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Communication Division received a 911 call reference a traffic accident on Peach Avenue in Hesperia, California.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Deputies from the Hesperia Station along with rescue personnel from the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a report of a single vehicle traffic collision in the area of Peach Avenue and Orange Street in Hesperia, California.
It was reported that a single vehicle had collided with a tree at that location.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Deputies arrived on scene and discovered that the female driver of a 1991 Honda was trapped inside her vehicle that had collided with the large tree.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Despite efforts from medical personnel, the female died from her injuries at the scene.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) responded to conduct the investigation.
It was determined that the victim had been traveling north on Peach Avenue near Orange Street in her 1991 Honda at an undetermined speed when she failed to negotiate the curve in the roadway, losing control and hitting the tree.
The impact caused the victim’s vehicle to separate into two pieces around the tree, trapping the victim inside.
Peach Avenue was closed in the area for about 4 hours while investigators processed the scene for evidence and removed the vehicle from the scene.
At this time the exact cause of the collision is still under investigation by the Hesperia Station MAIT Investigators.

– Adelanto, CA: Person arrested for possession of a stolen firearm.
At around 11:00pm PT Monday night, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Malcolm Page from the Victor Valley Station conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 Black Chevy Avalanche for California Vehicle Code violations.
The driver of the vehicle identified as 38 year old Rahi Neru Hall of Las Vegas, Nevada was found to be driving on a suspended license.
While conducting a search of the vehicle, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Malcolm Page found a stolen handgun concealed in the door panel.
The handgun had a high capacity magazine and was loaded with one round in the chamber.
Rahi Neru Hall, who is a convicted felon, was arrested and transported to the Victor Valley Jail.
Rahi Neru Hall is currently being held in lieu of $50,000.00 bail.
