Downtown Needles, CA: Desert Communities Federal Credit Union buys old Bank of America building.
Sources in the City of Needles confirmed to ZachNews that the Desert Communities Federal Credit Union has purchase the old Bank of America building on West Broadway in Downtown Needles, California and plan to move there.
Back in February 2013, Bank of America closed their bank branch located at 1001 West Broadway in Downtown Needles, California leaving Desert Communities Federal Credit Union located at the intersection of Third street and D Street receiving those in the community looking for a place to deposited and save their money in.
ZachNews also confirmed that one of the two flag poles are to be donated to be use during the National Day of the Republic of China (Taiwan) Ceremony held on October 10th next to the Needles City Council Chambers.
ZachNews was informed about this purchase well covering the Needles City Council Meeting after reports were going around that the Desert Communities Federal Credit Union has purchase the old Bank of America building.
Both the City Clerk and the Mayor confirmed this information including the flag pole donation.
