Needles, CA: There was lots of police activity around the Needles, California area on Friday.
ZachNews received several news tips of San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Deputies around the Robinsons Apartments located on the 200 block of F Street in Downtown Needles, California at around 10:00am PT.
Several San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Deputies and a law enforcement dog were seen around the Robinsons Apartments and talking to a resident in a upstairs unit at the Robinsons Apartments.
ZachNews have also received news tips of San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Deputies were also seen along West Broadway as well as along Needles Highway in the northwest side of Needles, California.
ZachNews contacted San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and received this email from the Public Affairs Division of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department which said,
“Deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner’s Department and the San Bernardino County Department of Probation conducted a compliance check of those individuals assigned to Post Release Community Supervision. The mission of the compliance operation is an ongoing effort to protect the citizens of the City of Needles and the residents of San Bernardino County. PRCS (Post Release Community Supervision) is a program designed for low risk offenders to serve their sentence in County Jail rather than State Prison. Once these individuals are released from custody, they are supervised by the County Probation Department. Deputies from the Colorado River Station, Narcotics, and Special Enforcement Division, assisted Probation Officers in contacting 44 individuals within the City of Needles. Deputies from the Narcotics and the Specialized Enforcement Division also served two search warrants within the City of Needles. Six people were arrested on various charges ranging from possession of a controlled substance, parole violation, and warrants. These subjects were transported and booked into the Colorado River Station Jail.”
