The closure of Bank of America’s bank branch will also include the outdoor automated teller machine decided by Bank of America Corporate Office.
Both local Bank of America representatives as well as Western Regional Consulting Elaine Cullen who was consulting with the City of Needles asked Bank of America Corporate Representatives to keep the outdoor Bank of America automated teller machine open.
Months later, Bank of America Corporate Representatives decided to ignore their cries by local customers and told those local customers to do their banking at the nearby Bank of America bank branches located in Fort Mohave, Arizona and Barstow, California.
Many who use to do their banking at the Bank of America’s bank branch in Downtown Needles, California were very disappointed and plan to make banking agarments with those who care for the customer first and not about their corporation.
Some in the community are worry that the closure of the Bank of America’s bank branch will leave those who have no transportation and are on Government assistants without a bank to do their banking as many who are on Government assistants and who have no transportation used the Bank of America’s bank branch in Downtown needles, California to take money out to pay their bills and to buy groceries.
Just down the street, the Desert Community Credit Union located on the 300 block of D Street at Third Street have been seeing customers from Bank of America signing up for new accounts with their credit union.
