Downtown Needles, CA: Meeting discussing the El Garces Project was held last Friday.
A meeting was held on the morning of Friday, January 11th, 2013 to discuss the layout of the El Garces Project and what is going to be worked on in the El Garces Project.
This meeting was mandatory pre-bid meeting on the El Garces Project which the group discussed the plumbing and electricity inside, outside, and around the El Garces located next to Santa Fe Park on Front Street in Downtown Needles, California.
The group which included Needles City Council Member Linda Kidd, and City of Needles Mayor Edward T. Paget got to take a tour on El Garces well learning where and what was planned for the El Garces.
More information regarding the El Garces Project was brought up during a Needles Chamber of Commerce’s General Membership Meeting held on Thursday, December 13th, 2012.
Needles City Council Member Linda Kidd showed off the floor plans of the property, what is being planned inside, outside, and around the El Garces, and what is to come for the El Garces Project.
According to Needles City Council Member Linda Kidd, the El Garces Project is coming alone really well and is on schedule.
A packet is being put together regarding the El Garces Project and will be presented at Needles City Council Meeting in January 2013.
As part of their contract, there is a promise to have the El Garces Project done by October 20th, 2013 which is near the Needles’ 100th Centennial Celebration in October 2013.
According to Needles City Council Member Linda Kidd, if the El Garces Project isn’t finish in that time frame, “they are penalized for it.”
Many hope that when the El Garces is finally open, that tourist will come into Needles, California and be able to learn more about our community and what is there to do in Needles, California.
