Centennial, CO: The preliminary hearing for the gunman in the deadly movie theater massacre in Aurora, Colorado will start on Monday, January 7th, 2013.
The preliminary hearing is expected to last all week and will be the first extensive public disclosure of the evidence against 24 year old James Eagen Holmes who want on a deadly movie theater massacre killing 12 people during the premiere of the new Batman movie, “The Dark Knight Rises” inside the Century 16 Movie Theaters in Aurora, Colorado on the night of Friday, July 20th, 2012.
Many of the victim’s family members and survivors of the deadly movie theater massacre are expected to attend the preliminary hearing.
Many media from across the country and around the globe have gather at the Arapahoe County Justice Center Monday morning for the preliminary hearing.
The official purpose of the preliminary hearing is to allow the judge to determine whether the prosecution’s case is strong enough to warrant a trial.
