New healthcare clinic coming December 2012 to Needles.

Needles, CA: A new healthcare clinic is coming soon to serve the community of Needles, California.

The new clinic by Tri-State Community Healthcare Center will be providing primary care services and will bring in specialist like Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OB/GYN), Pediatricians, Cardiologist, Podiatrist Services, and Telemedicine Services, and will be referring clients to Colorado River Medical Center for laboratory and radiology services which will bring more people into the hospital.

The new clinic will also be providing counseling services for substance abuse, HIV/AIDS Counseling, Family Planning Services, and Immunization Services for Children.

According to Giselle Antonio of Tri-State Community Healthcare Center, they are a non profit community clinic and provides access to health care services for everybody; regardless if their ability to pay, and have clinics in the Los Angeles County, California as well as a clinic in San Bernardino County, California.

The new clinic will be accepting all types of insurance; Medical, Medicare, Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs), private insurance, county funded insurance, and a charity care policy or a sliding fee schedule which means to reduce the cost for services to persons without health insurance.

According to Giselle Antonio of Tri-State Community Healthcare Center, they will be utilize local doctors and bringing in doctors into the new clinic, and during Hospital Board of Trustees Meeting held on Thursday, November 15th, 2012, Giselle Antonio of Tri-State Community Healthcare Center told the members of the Hospital Board of Trustees that they are willing to provide professional staffing to the Colorado River Medical Center if the hospital need them.

Both Giselle Antonio and Aram Manoukian of Tri-State Community Healthcare Center have been working with the Colorado River Medical Center for over a year to bring this clinic to the community.

The new clinic will be located at 1402 Bailey Avenue just across the street from the Colorado River Medical Center in Needles, California and is planned to open up in the middle of December 2012 which according to Giselle Antonio of Tri-State Community Healthcare Center, “Hopefully it will give life back to the hospital.”
