Veterans Day celebrates and honors the service our United States military veterans have done for our country.
Let us all give thanks and show our respects to all of our United States military veterans on Veterans Day and everyday.
There will be many events celebrating and honoring Veterans Day on Sunday, November 11th, 2012 around the Colorado River Tri-State area.
The following is a few of the events celebrating and honoring Veterans Day around the Colorado River Tri-State area:
** Mohave Valley, Arizona: **
– Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 404 will honor Veterans Day with a ceremony on Sunday, November 11th, 2012 at the Desert Lawn Cemetery located at 9250 South Ranchero Lane in Mohave Valley, Arizona. The ceremony will start at 11:00am MT.

** Laughlin, Nevada: **
– The Laughlin Veterans Festival will have on Sunday, November 11th, 2012 a prayer service starting at 8:00am PT followed by a charity breakfast at 9:00am PT. A Wall of Tribute, featuring the Flotilla of Flowers, is scheduled to start at 11:00am PT then closing ceremonies will start at 2:30pm PT will wrap up Laughlin’s first full scale veterans weekend co-produced by Las Vegas Events and Source 1 Events in association with Radar Entertainment Group.
The festival will be staged on the event lot between the River Palms Casino and the Golden Nugget Casino in Laughlin, Nevada.
There will be a motorcycle show, military displays, live entertainment, a vendor area and marketplace, and a special Veterans Memorial ceremony at the The Laughlin Veterans Festival.

** Needles, California: **
BPOE Elks Lodge 1608 will celebrate Veterans Day with a full breakfast on Sunday, November 11th, 2012 to honor the veterans of the United States military.
Breakfast will be served starting at 8:00am PT inside the Needles Elks Lodge 1608 located at 1000 Lillyhill Drive in Needles, California.
All veterans, active duty military, and law enforcement are invited for a free breakfast.
Breakfast will include eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, pancakes, french toast, waffles, biscuits and gravy, and hashbrowns.
A $8.00 Donation for all non-veterans.

– A Veteran’s Day Parade will be held in Lake Havasu City, Arizona starting at 10:00am MT on Sunday, November 11th, 2012.
The Veteran’s Day Parade will run along Main Street in Downtown Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Join family and friends along Main Street as they all give thanks to our local veterans, servicemen, and servicewomen.
