Yucca, AZ: On Thursday, October 18th, 2012 at about 12:30pm MST, Desert Hills Fire Department firefighters responded Thursday to reports of an airplane crash about 10 miles east of the State Route Highway 95 and Interstate 40 in the area southwest of Yucca, Arizona.
According to the Havasu News, at least one fatality and the airplane crash was witnessed and reported by a U.S. Bureau of Land Management official who was stopped at the interchange of Santa Fe Ranch Road and Interstate 40 for a telephone call.
The airplane crash site was located 300 yards north of Interstate 40 on the top of a little hill and was destroyed by fire.
