Needles, CA: On Friday, September 7th, 2012, City of Needles Employees will be cleaning the streets of Needles, California as part of the City of Needles’ Clean Up Project.
This cleaning up the our community event will be meeting at around 7:00am PT at the parking lot across the side street from the “Green House” which is located at the intersection of K Street and Needles Highway in Needles.
The group of volunteers will be cleaning up trash and junk around the outside edges along between K Street, River Road, and Needles Highway.
Organizers of this community cleaning up event say that this will be a very large project as this is the most visible corner in Needles, California which is the main entry to River Edge Golf Course, Needles Marina Park, and Jack Smith Park where the beautiful Colorado River is enjoyed by many from throughout the Colorado River Tri-State area.
Organizers are asking those who are planning to volunteer at the community clean up to please bring your own protective clothing, gloves, hat, appropriate shoes, water, and tools that will help you with the job of cleaning.
