Needles, CA: Good samaritans came to the aid of a woman who fell into the Colorado River at Jack Smith Park in Needles, California Saturday afternoon.
According to eyewitnesses, the woman and 3 teens were walking along a small rocky jetty along the beach and sticks out into the Colorado River when the woman slipped off the rocks and fell into the water.
Several good samaritans helped rescued a woman from the Colorado River well others called 911. San Bernardino County Fire Department as well as Baker Emergency Medical Services responded to Jack Smith Park.
The woman was checked out at the scene and didn’t need to be transported to a hospital.
