Needles, California: The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station has released publicly information regarding authorities searching for a local man who is wanted for kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, terrorist threats, and parole violations.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, early Monday morning, April 30, 2012, at about 1 a.m., Jerry Endsley, who is on active parole for assault with a deadly weapon, was reported to have gone to his former girlfriend’s residence at the 1900 block of Erin Drive, Needles, CA.

During an argument, Endsley produced a knife and forceably kidnapped the victim by dragging her to several locations at an apartment complex. After a physical assault, Endsley fled and left the victim at the location. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Colorado River Station were called to investigate. Deputies received information that Endsley is hiding in the Needles area. Deputies searched several locations for Endsley, but did not locate him. The investigation found Endsley made additional threats to continue committing violent assaults and deputies continue to actively search for him.

Endsley is wanted by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and the State of California Department of Corrections for kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, terrorist threats, and parole violations. Endsley is considered
armed and dangerous. If Endsley’s whereabout are known, citizens are advised not to approach him and to contact local
law enforcement immediately. Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact Deputy Matt Kitchen
or Sergeant Tim Lotspeich at the Colorado River Station. Citizens may remain anonymous and provide information by
