According to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office, a second student has confirmed died in tragic deadly shooting at Chardon High School in Chardon, Ohio on Monday, February 27th, 2012.
The total deaths and injuries caused by deadly school stands at 2 students are dead and 3 students are injured.
The first student to die in Monday’s Tragic and Deadly School Shooting at Chardon High School was identified Monday as 16 year old Daniel Parmertor.
The Parmertor family released a statement on the tragic school shooting at Chardon High School in Chardon, Ohio:
“We are shocked by this senseless tragedy. Danny was a bright young boy who had a bright future ahead of him. The family is torn by this loss. We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time.”

During a news conference on Monday, February 27th, 2012, Chardon Police Chief Tim McKenna gave an update on the tragic school shooting at Chardon High School in Chardon, Ohio.
A call of shoots being fired at Chardon High School came in to 911 at around 7:38am ET.
Chardon Police arrived and went on a search for the gunmen.
A teacher identified by students as Frank Hall, an assistant football coach, chased the gunman out of Chardon High School.
The gunmen was chased out of Chardon High School and surrendered to police without incident.
First responders arrived to help the victims of the shooting.
2 students have died in the tragic school shooting. has been identified as 16 year old Daniel Parmertor.
4 other students were injured in this tragic shooting.
Chardon Local School District has cancelled classes for Tuesday.
Federal Bureau of Investigation officials have identified the gunman as TJ Lane.
ATF and FBI are searching the home of TJ Lane and are looking at how this teen got the gun.
TJ Lane’s Facebook Page had postings expressing his anger and sadness at the world as well as writing about God, Lucifer, and Death. TJ Lane’s Facebook Page has been pulled off line.
Some media outlets reports Lane may have Tweeted that he was going to bring a gun to school but that Tweet is no longer posted.
Many of students from Chardon High School knew TJ Lane as a loner and may have been bullied in the pass for how he was dress or what hair color he was wearing.
Many students say Lane comes from a broken home and was being raised by his grandparents.
Unknown if the gunmen was targeting those who bullied him or if he was just shooting at random.
TJ Lane will be appearing in local juvenile court on Tuesday.
Many state agencies are heading to Chardon, Ohio to help those affected by this tragic school shooting.
The Governor of Ohio John Kasich issued a statement on the tragic school shooting at Chardon High School in Chardon, Ohio:
“Please join me in praying for the students who’ve been injured in this horrible crime. Praise goes to the Chardon Police and Geauga County Sheriff’s Office for quickly getting this situation under control. I’ve pledged Ohio’s full support to them, the school and the local community in this difficult time.”
