Board of Hospital Trustees Members Voted Unanimously Not To Enter Into a Contract with New Interim Chief Executive Officer of Hospital.

Needles, CA: During Thursday’s Board of Hospital Trustees Meeting, the Board of Hospital Trustees Members went into executive session to discuss entering into prospective employment of an interim chief executive officer (CEO) with Jon Freeberg.

More then15 minutes later, the Board of Hospital Trustees Members unanimously voted not to enter into a contract with Jon Freeberg as interim chief executive officer of Colorado River Medical Center in Needles, California.

The vote against Jon Freeberg as interim chief executive officer wasn’t because of the work Jon Freeberg has done for the hospital, but may have to do with the rollercoaster ride of items regarding Colorado River Medical Center that at times have stressed out the Board of Hospital Trustees Members and even got some angry and tired.

“This board is in utter and absolute chaos as to which direction to go. We got almost a half of millions of dollars in accounts payable, we’re dealing with Uffer leaving and Francis gone, then you,” said Board of Hospital Trustees Member Tom Darcy.

Board of Hospital Trustees Member Tom Darcy later thanked Jon Freeberg for your work he had done for the hospital.

“This is not a reflection on you, this is an reflection on this board and… the height we gotten… take up 14,000 feet, I think we all are running out of air. That’s what’s going on here,” said Board of Hospital Trustees Member Tom Darcy.

No comments from Board of Hospital Trustees Members the why Francis L. Comunale is no longer the chief executive officer of Colorado River Medical Center, but some in the community are saying in had to do with politics like usual in Needles.

ZachNews asked Francis L. Comunale during the Special Meeting of the Board of Hospital Trustees held on Wednesday, January 25th, 2012 to why is he no longer going to be chief executive officer (CEO) of Colorado River Medical Center which he replied, “ It just politics as usual.”

What’s next for the hospital and who will become the new chief executive officer of Colorado River Medical Center many are asking themselves tonight and all we know is that this rollercoaster ride has just gotten bumpier.
